Q: How do I find out if my child will attend CES?
A: Please call the Boundary Office at 410-887-4216
OR: go to www.bcps.org and click on the tab "Our School" then click on "School Boundaries" and enter your address.
Q: What information is needed to register my child?
A: You will need the following information at the time of registration
1. your child's:
Birth certificate
Immunizations records
2. Maryland Driver's license or MD state ID at the address zoned for Catonsville Elementary.
3. Proof of residency : you must have the original of one of these exact items with you:
Lease/rental agreement from realtor, management company or a lease/rental agreement from private party owner (documents establishing ownership of property by private party owner must must be submitted), deed, settlement papers, mortgage statement, or real estate tax bill showing your name and address. If you do not have a lease in you name, please contact Sandra Parsons, Residency officer, at 410-887-7474. You must have the approval form from Mrs. Parsons at the time of registration.
Three additional proofs of residency with your name and address are also required at the time of registration: (ex: current credit card bill, bank statement, utility or cable bill, voter registration card, MVA registration)
We will only copy your name and address. Confidential information will be blocked out.
4. Registration form and emergency forms (complete both sides and sign).
5. Medical forms.
6. Custody paperwork signed by a judge.

Q: How do I add money to my child's lunch account?
A: Forms are available in the main office or you may download one here. If you do not have a form at home please write a note enclosed with the money to the Cafeteria manager, indicating your child's name, teacher,number of lunches, breakfasts or cash account. Make checks payable to CES Cafeteria.
Q: What time does school begin?
A: Students may enter the building at 8:25 -- classes begin at 8:40

Q: If school closes 2 hours early, what time will the students leave school?
A: School will dismiss at 1:10pm
Lunch will be served
Q: If school opens one hour late, what time should students arrive?
A: Students may enter the building at 9:25, and classes begin at 9:40
Q: If school opens 2 hours late?
A: Students may enter the building at 10:25 --classes begin at 10:40
No Breakfast served. No morning Pre-K
Q: When will I know what class my child will be in for the new school year?
A: Notices will be mailed in August
Q: Does CES have a Pre-Kindergarten program?
A: Yes, we have registration in May and August. Parents will be notified by mail if your child has/has not been accepted into the program. Our program is held daily with both AM & PM sessions in the morning from 8:25 - 11:10 afternoon from 12:40 - 3:10.
